TOKORO: Docu/Fiction Pilote
CONCEPT:
TOKORO means “place” in Japanese. TOKORO invites people to discover events, places, artists and more around Tokyo by following in FPV (first person view), a Tokoyite in his tribulations around the city.
TOKORO introduces underground places and events through funny and humorous storytelling. The vertical size is a new way to produce video, and for us, it was obvious to mix it with a “manga style and codes”. Adding illustrations, onomatopoeias and more to make the storytelling fun and fresh.
TOKORO is pure fiction… But artists and people are real people… we hope to make a new episode soon… Thank you and join us in our explorations of the city.

This first episode is introducing a live painting and a nightlife in Tokyo. Following an artist friend, TOKORO’s main character enters the Solfa, a music and art club in Nakameguro.
During this event, he falling in love with a pretty young girl and tries to talk to her, but unfortunately for him, his “friend” is already taking her contact. He drinks too much and finally get drunk… and out of spite, he punches him…
