CONCEPT:
I contacted Koralie & Supakitch in order to make a short movie based on their characters. The intention was to make something a bit abstract, like a music video, based on their duo. Living in Montreal during winter brought me this idea of two characters roaming the cold night to finally meeting and falling in love. The remix of Phoenix "1901" by D.LI.D. did the rest... We made it with no budget, a 7D and the precious help of Shoot the Boss in France. The kind of passionated project I like to make.
PITCH:
"Waiting for the subway, a young girl lets down a geisha’s picture from her notebook, which magically comes to life.
Meanwhile, in a coffee shop, a young man leaves his laptop running and a character with fox head comes to life as well.
Then they rush through the snowy city, guided by their instinct to come together and finally live their love."
